Jack Goldman has been active in the Los Angeles business community for many years as a senior level corporate lawyer and businessman. In his more than 30 years of legal practice, he has amassed valuable expertise in corporate governance, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and complex domestic and foreign business transactions.
Jack has worked with emerging companies, entrepreneurs and business leaders in many industries for a number of years in the development, growth and financing of their companies. His current practice focus includes working with entrepreneur-owned emerging growth enterprises that are bringing proprietary technologies to market.
Jack has considerable experience in corporate finance, venture capital, technology transfers and licensing, manufacturing and distribution, e-commerce, health care and life sciences and through his years of counseling leaders of early stage technology companies.
He combines his skills as a lawyer with his experience in business, both lawyering and also functioning as a businessman and entrepreneur. He is the leader of a Southern California based company that develops and distributes proprietary business continuity planning and disaster recovery software solutions to Fortune 1000 and middle market clients. His dual law/business experience includes six years as General Counsel and a senior executive officer of Superscope, Inc., a NYSE listed, multi-national, name brand manufacturer and distributor of Sony, Marantz and Superscope consumer audio products, one of California's 100 largest companies during the 1970s.
Jack has served as a strategic advisor and board member of several emerging technology companies. He was the founder of The Entrepreneurship Institute's Los Angeles Advisory Board and is a member of the Adaptive Business Leaders Conference, organizations which provide support to emerging businesses. Jack has often lectured on corporate governance, entrepreneurship and strategic corporate partnering. He has authored several articles on developing business models for medical service organizations.

Professional Qualifications and Memberships
Jack is admitted to practice in California, and is a member of the Los Angeles County and American Bar Associations, the American Health Lawyers Association and the ABA's Health Law Section. He was one of the initial members of the AMA's Physicians Capital Source Advisory Committee.
Jack is also Chair of the Governance Committee, and a member of the Audit Committee of the board of Boise, Inc. (NYSE), a significant supplier of uncoated free sheet paper, containerboard, newsprint, packaging and specialty papers.
Education
Jack earned his BA in Chemistry at Lafayette College and his JD at UCLA Law School. He also completed the Executive Management Program at the Anderson School of Business at UCLA.
