Dale Miller has been representing business clients for more than 30 years in diverse industries including health care, manufacturing, biotech and energy. His clients span the globe relying on him as their strategic confidante, business advisor, fellow entrepreneur and corporate lawyer. Dale's ability to create shareholder value as both a business person and legal counselor is recognized and reflected in the number of Board seats he holds alongside Fortune 500 executives. He has applied his business acumen taking companies from the start up stage to private companies about to go public.
Dale represents buyers and sellers in the merger or acquisition of both public and privately held companies, venture capital transactions, private placement transactions and international finance matters. He takes a proactive role in advising clients on all aspects of corporate negotiations and transactions including finding creative solutions to complex business and financial issues.
Formerly, he was the co-founder of Miller & Holguin, a Los Angeles transactional law firm started in 1984 that merged in 2006 with his current firm.

Publications
Dale has been a frequent author and lecturer on issues ranging from capital formation to mergers and acquisitions, and health care law to technology transfer licensing. He has published a number of articles, including: "Medicare Risk Contracting Opportunities for Provider Sponsored Organization", Medical Group Management Journal (1997); "Capital Formation for the Prepaid Health Plan Through Public and Private Financing", Whittier Law Review (1984); and "The Participation of National Banks in Private Placements of Corporate Securities", The New England Law Review (1977).
Professional Qualifications and Memberships
Dale is admitted to practice in California. He is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, American Bar Association's Corporate & Business Section, and is active in the Milken Institute, an independent economic think tank whose mission is to improve the lives and economic conditions of diverse populations in the US and around the world. He is also active in the Adaptive Business Leaders organization, Israeli Chamber of Commerce, and Citizens Empowerment Center in Israel.
Dale serves on the Board of Directors of several corporations, including Anna's Linens, a national retail chain, and Proneuron Biotechnologies, Inc., where he is Executive Chairman. In addition, he has served on the boards and committees of both private and publicly held companies in the technology and health care sectors. Dale is a co-manager of Hudson Investment Group, a private equity fund.
Dale has been named a Southern California Super Lawyer each year from 2005 - 2010 in the category of Securities and Corporate Finance, as published in Southern California Super Lawyer Magazine and Los Angeles Magazine.
Education
Dale received his BA from the University of California at Los Angeles and his JD from Pepperdine University. He received his LLM from New York University in Corporation Law.
